Haven't seen these faces in a while

I mean it.   They all got their "ears lowered"  as my dad says.  Last weekend before heading to the Tae Kwon Do Tournament.   So finally I get to see eye balls again.    Then they let me use them for models which they haven't been willing to do for a while.     So here's some photos for the grandparents!!!

Following a Path

I am following a new path.   It's going very well.  I'm excited and happy at where it is going.    Though often I'm a little overwhelmed at balancing all the parts of it.   The path where my family is happy and in a reasonably clean house.   Well that is that hard part.    The rest of it feels good and I can manage it because it is very much like my massage therapy business.     I'll keep following this path and see how balanced it is.

Tae Kwon Do Tournament in Penticiton

Hannah competed in her first tournament this weekend.    Let me tell you this cute little blond girl turns scary!!!   Sparring makes her a focused kicking machine.   She came home with a silver medal for her poomsae (which is a pattern of moves done in a certain way)  and a gold medal in her sparring competition.   She was over the moon and wants to do every tournament she can.

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately.   I have been super busy.  Which is great.  But bad that I neglect the blog.   There will be photos to come the next few days.   My deadlines are almost finished so then you get to see some of what I've been up to.

Apparently this looked even better at the farm I was at half an hour before.   Ugh!   Darn kids that have to be fed!!

Antique

Antique is collected or desirable because of its age, beauty, rarity, condition, utility, personal emotional connection, and/or other unique features.    So because we are on day two of rainy,  freezing weather and I haven't been able to take the photos for the workshop I'm working on. (which needs sun) Or take any photos for the other two jobs I have on the go you will have to settle with looking at this photo.   A few weeks ago, my girlfriend asked if I wanted to go looking at this antique store she knew.   So away we went.   So by antique definition this photo is an antique because of my personal emotional connection to it.   (If any one else has sun send it my way I really need it!) 

Black Eyed Susie's

Happy Thanksgiving from this Black Eyed Susan in my garden.   We went to friends for a lovely deep fried chicken and lamb dinner.  But I always forget to take photos of food because hunger always gets the best of me.    Hope everyone else that celebrated this holiday today had a good feast.   

Officially Ten years old!!

So how does a ten year old celebrate their day?   Well this one wanted to stay in her pj's all day.   Have an ice cream cake and some sort of chicken for dinner.    Then open up lego, and a new wallet.   Pretty easy requests we thought at least.

for not bringing your camera with you today.    It was a beautiful sunny day today after the whole week of cloudy, rainy days.   Went for a walk this morning,   some birthday shopping ,  and then finally some last of the sweet corn picking at a farm I go to.   So instead of bringing the camera with me  (and yes I missed tonnes of moments where the sun was awesome)  I just enjoyed watching the kids run with other kids and smile and run free on a farm.   Which they asked why we don't live on a farm like all their cousins,  and grandparents,  and friends.     Hum!!   Ask your dad!

It has been rainy, gloomy and cool.   So I haven't be out as much this week at farms.   Mostly been doing paperwork and telephone meetings,   while passing out kleenex.   Because yeah!!!!  back to school germs are flying.

Well I can tell you he's thinking lady give me more of those peppermint candies!!!!!

Early Birthday Celebrations

My oldest is 10!!!  When did that happen.     She had a early party with three of her good friends.    A few hours at the pool,  home to feast all night,   and I mean all night.   Sleep over where they out lasted us!!!
