Cobar Camel Bruce

The Cobar Camels are the rugby union club in Cobar.   I played for the girls.   Just before we left they got Bruce the Camel as a mascot.   So I'm had to go take a photo of him when visiting Cobar this past weekend.

I came across this old threshing machine in a field.   There was another one two further back.    I can still remember the sounds and watching this machine work.   We had one on our farm when I was little and I remember the belt and the noise.   Of course we modernized not long after that probably.   Since my brother doesn't remember.

Jelly Fish

We saw lots of jelly fish on our adventures to the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.   Most were very dead after the tide had gone out and they were left on the shore.   So we had to head to the Aquarium to see them live.

We have been to Vancouver before but never done much of the tourist stuff.    This was very fun and educational for sure.

We were meeting friends in Vancouver.   One of the girls names is Isabella.   Just as we were walking into the hotel this little beauty came walking towards us.   Isabella too......  too freaky but awesome.  It was just meant to be.

Clark's Nutcracker

Have been trying for ages to get a photo of this bird.   It was named after the explorers Lewis and Clark,  who originally thought it was a woodpecker.  

Murphy's Last Time

Murphy our cat is going to my mom's to live since we can't take him with us to our new home in Australia.   So we watched as he tried to hunt the fish out of the pond all morning.   We are going to miss this big fellow.  

Bald Eagle

I was enjoying the quiet of the sand beach on MacDonald Creek Campground when this young bald eagle flew down out of the trees over top of me,  and then back into the trees.   I then spent the next half hour before my gang whined to leave decided it was time to go,  taking snaps of it.
