Week 26 - 52 Weeks of Cocktails - Merry Margarita

Lime Soda, sugar, fresh lime juice, and crushed ice.   Yummy on our non alcoholic Mexican night.   New salsa in Coles.   The kids all loved this.  I need a blender and I am a little frighten I might be getting them addicted to margarita's before 19.

Day 160 - Red Nose

Week 23 and 24 - 52 Weeks of Cocktails - Sizzling Santa and Frosty's Frappe

These last two weeks I have been forgetting to do the cocktail.   So hubby and I did two at once and shared.
Sizzling Santa:  whisky, honey and boiling water
Frosty's Frappe:   Bailey's, milk, ice, coffee and chocolate topping blended up

Well we each liked the opposite.  I loved the Frappe and my husband enjoyed the Sizzling Santa.  I halved the recipe to begin with so it was just small drinks but enough for a taste.

I think I need to invest in a blender.  I have been using one of those mini choppers.  Fun Fun moving countries you start getting use to just using the minimum appliances.

Day 158 - Two Dancers ......My Way

Saw this painting by Judy Prosser called "Two Dancers"   and was draw to it.   I haven't done it justice.   The neighbour was so great at being a model while my girls posed her and helped her remember how the photo looked.  Now I just have to get it printed for her.

Day 148 - Red Trilliums

The trillium is Ontario's Provincial flower.   Every spring white ones covered our bush at the farm.   If we got to see a red one that was rare.   This spring I got to go home to Ontario and got to see a red trillium.   The white ones were just coming out when I left.   Another time for sure I will get the whole bush covered.
