This is suppose to be in a shot glass but it was a cold rainy night so we decided to all have hot chocolate with whipped cream and the adults add the cointreau. Tasted like a orange chocolate ball you get at Christmas. Yummy

My guinea pigs this week. Hubby and I had friend from Canada visiting so we had a cocktail one afternoon. It was tasty the only problem is that it called for coconut cream and well it got thick and chunky. Tasted good but I think it should have been coconut milk maybe?? Learning.

I didn't realize there were so many varieties of tree frogs. I just remember the bright green ones from Cobar. Haven't seen any in Parkes yet but we have tonnes of these ones hanging around the water tank. I think this is a Peron's Tree Frog or a Laughing Tree frog as it is commonly known as.

My mother in law gave me money to buy myself a birthday bouquet I finally got around to ordering myself one. So I went all green so I could photograph green flowers for the next few days!! Tara Jeane Coffee shop and florist in Parkes is wonderful.

Aunt Shannon we have finally found Creme de Minte!!!! Email me if you want a bottle and I will be your supplier!!! Hannah told me though they aren't as good as yours. Ugh Aunties are better.

It was Ladies Day Social at the Twisted Rivers Winery for Rio Tinto's spouses and female workers. Lovely food and wine for 5 hours and only 30 minutes from town. I think we may have to take some visitors to the open cellar when we get some.

My mint is blooming and spreading seeds. I think something with mint in it is calling.

I like tequila but this was way too much tequila. 3 shots of this in this drink. I couldn't drink it is was way too much and not pleasant to drink.

We have a lime tree at our house. We are very excited.

Here is proof that I do not drink alone. We had a dinner party on Saturday so I moved my cocktail day to Saturday instead of Thursday. I made Strawberry Sensation for the ladies. A nice light drink to sip in the Australian Sun. Strawberry puree, crushed ice, one shot of vodka and some white bubbly wine to top.
