80's - I think I fell in love with my red converses while in high school. I remember my dad being appalled because converse were the poor kid gym shoe and he hated them. Just couldn't understand why they were in fashion when his age group were forced to wear them for gym. Now they have come back again, in more colours then you could imagine. My daughter has a green pair she loves. Us 80's children. My brother and I still have them sitting on the shoe rack at the back doors, and we wear them thinking we are still young and cool. To all my fellow converse lovers.
