Celebrate!

On Friday we got word that our rental house has been rented so we celebrated not having to pay anymore by opening a good bottle of wine from Australia and enjoying some cheese, bread and olives.

I don't need a man........and finally tea!!!!!

My Ikea shelves finally arrived today.   Ikea instructions out and they suggest I have two people for the job.   Yah whatever.     I got them done only took me an hour for each shelf but they are up and looking damn good if I do say so myself.   These are up in our massive play, scrapbook room.  

 

While morning tea with Sam on Jones Drive we tried out lots of the teas that Cobar shops had in.  They had a very good selection.   Getting to Kamloops I was very disappointed all herbal this and that.   Where was the good regular tea?   Then in all places Walmart I found Irish Breakfast tea.   I am happy at last I was seriously thinking of getting a care package sent!!!

Robert L. Clemitson Elementary School

Here is the new school.  I doesn't have the old character of the Stuart Wood or Cobar Public School.   Much newer then the 1900's.   It's been a roller coaster of a week.   3 schools in 4 plus months and these girls aren't real happy with all the change.   Getting into new groups of friends,  new teachers and the differences in teaching styles.   Hopefully this was just a getting to know each other week and next week it settles down and gets back to what they have been doing in the other schools.   And maybe some friends that will have playdates to come.
PS:  (for Sam!!!)  Robert Clemitson was a rural school trustee in Kamloops for 20 years.   The School was built in 1972 and named after him for his dedication and hard work.

How to take photos of an almost 3 year old..........

Food isn't working with Owen anymore.    But I have found another bribe that works.   Quick let me take 5 photos and then we can play hockey for a while!!!!    Okay let's stop run to the window take 4 more and then play some more wack the ball around the room..........  repeat until hiding face in the rug happens.  So I might have got 5 good photos out of 40!!    But whatever works huh.
(sorry no photos of the new school yet.  Photos were all blurry because it was cold out yesterday and this morning it was sleeting - rain/snow- not fun to walk in but I did make it home in 20 minute though!!!)  Look out for the school blog tomorrow hopefully

Places I'm missing

1. Got to sleep in and do some reading in bed first

7.   Spoke too soon Owen and Hannah started fighting!!

9.  Decided to walk to the park to see how long it would take us to get to school.   The sidewalks have this neat painted person on them.

11.   Back home after the long 30 minute walk to get warm under the covers.

12.  Daddy is going to beer club so he brought us KFC for dinner for all you that are wondering what PFK is it is KFC in french!

10 Things I use everyday

1.  I use the stove every day to make breakfast, lunch or dinner or all three

2.  I have to brush my teeth every morning

3. My camera goes with me everyday.  You never know what you will see and I have to practice.

4. After I finish the school lunches I read the funnies and see what is going on in Kamloops.

5.  Lists I start a list every morning don't always get to it but it's written.

6.  I'm trying to grow out my hair so I have been wearing this toque everyday.  (it's getting hard with this plus 10 weather though!!)

7.  Diapers.......  I think that speaks for itself.

8.  I get on the computer everyday to check emails and see who loves me!!!

9.  For all that know me very well know that I am a total Coke addict.  Don't like coffee but have to have my COKE!!!

10.   I read myself to sleep every night.  It can be a good novel or just a photo assignment book.

Cuddle Time

I wish sometimes Eric would be around to take a photo of me all cuddled up with these three.  They won't do this forever and it so nice when they do. 

Graffiti

Very cool graffiti walls around this town.   Eric finally sees my appeal to it.   Now I just have to get a more willing model to help me out.   As you can see feet, hats over faces, and rocks had more interest.

And we went to the Chinese Graveyard as our last designation before heading home for lunch.

Car Repairs

A couple of weeks ago someone rear ended me.  (I was on the way to get my BC driver's liscense)  Owen and I were fine just a little bump.   So this week Toyota got to fixing it for us.   This is my gang waiting for the car to come around and we fit the car seats back in.
Beautiful day today.  Finally some sun in the morning and Owen and I went out taking photos at some neat graffiti art walls around downtown.   I'll post them tomorrow.   Not sure I like them.  Owen was cooperating at all.   Most of the time he was looking at his feet or pulling the hat over his face!!!!!

Mummy............. you're ignoring us again!!!!!!!

So that's my life.  I'm sucked into sorting clothes and putting them in the right places or books, or photo frames, or scrapbooking supplies or toys.........   the list goes on.   So unfortunately I'm ignoring the kids and they are getting mad or into piles of mischief.   Mischief means throwing the neatly piled clothes all over the room after I finish doing that job and have run upstairs to use the toilet.   Ah the joys.

                               nahhhh it's just Owen finding treasure in the boxes after I open them. 

And this is just a little taste of what the rest of the house looks like.   Boxes and more boxes.   All labeled saying ...... but when you open them you discover something completely different.   Well hopefully I can lose some weight walking up and down and over and then down and up and back to the original stop if I haven't got side tracked and started to put kids clothes away!!!!!!

Unpacking so out of commission for a few days.....

I would much rather be doing this right now then unpacking.   Do you think we can hire him to help??  Or at least bring the beer.   So we are in the house officially now.  Yeah so much more natural light.   So much space.   I keep loosing the kids.  Moved the clothes and food over.   Today some chairs and tomorrow the big truck of our stuff.    So I will try and post some photos of the craziness.   Till then enjoy your day I'm off to drug myself since I have the sniffles and Owen is screaming for popcorn.
